J. James Steele was born on a small island
along the North Atlantic coast on
June 9, 1956,
and studied art
at Cornell University, Skidmore College,
Sir John Cass School of Art,
St. Martins
College of Art and the Rhode Island School of Design.
Mr. Steele is known internationally for his oil and watercolor paintings and sculpture, exhibiting in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York, Arizona, Colorado, England and the Caribbean.
